I unfortunately *would not* be able to earn the Survival Monies I was hoping have to help me be fed for the 1st month or so, or search for/work another part-time job to supplement an income,, and I doubt I'll be able to cover my Tech-needs. If I get the ~February~ Call, I will have to pay my personal taxes asap (on top of the Loan and Insurance), drop all the Convention AAs I was planning to sell at, negotiate with my and the Calling Conference about fundraising for my flight, AND having to ~scramble~ to prep AND pack to leave the States for a Long-Term overseas stay in *less than* 1 month. ^=-w-=^Įither Call, I'd have to plan to pack my flight-luggage with at least 2 seasons' worth of clothes (since it'll take up to 3 months for a package to get to me via boat yay for prior experience!), fundraise for my one-way flight there ( I'm not allowed to fundraise for it until my position is green-lighted =^A^= ), and pay for my rent and food (on top of the Loan and Insurance). Please pray for us all and for these Mission Calls to be answered well. Another position is for the end of ~August~ 3 positions are available and there's 5 applicants (including myself). One position is available for the end of ~February~ I've a 50% chance since 2 people applied. I've applied to 2 such Mission Calls this year God willing, I'll finally go to answer one of these Calls. My original aim and dream for about the past 10 years has been to be a Missionary in Japan. Some of you who've been following me for the past few years may've heard that I've been a Missionary in South Korea for a year already. Sadly, I don't know if I'll be going to any conventions due to the applications I've sent for Missionary Calls in Japan. I've already paid my Reg for A-Ex and Fanime, but I still haven't bought an AA Table at Anime Expo and might have to hold off on Fanime's too this is due to further announcements below. To help my tech-situation, I need an Air Can cleaning for my current External Hard Drive (or it might be worse), a new Mac Laptop Battery (about $100), and a new External Drive (that fits my traveling lifestyle $200-250). And Terra, my External Hard Drive, isn't wanting to fully boot up. Mithril, my Laptop, gets really cranky since his battery is totally dead (I've gotta keep him plugged in at all times to have any power) and will shut off if he get's too hot (a use a mini fan to help regulate his temp it sometimes doesn't work for him). I've car insurance and a college loan to worry about, and I am in serious need of new hardware, as my Laptop and External Drive are REALLY showing their age.
